Baby Witte Process

Well as most of you know, Justin and I have been trying for a baby for quite some time now. After loosing two we decided to get some test done to see if they could figure out what was going on. Boy have we learned a lot. We found out that I am rh- (o-) blood type and I must have a shot called rhogam 3 times during the pregnancy to maintain the pregnancy. I had several blood test done and Justin had a semen analysis done. Everything came back normal. We could not figure out why it was taking so long to get pregnant in the first place then when I would get pregnant I would lose them very shortly after. After going to a fertility clinic in bedford they told me they thought I was not ovulating every month but would not give me anything to help with that until we had several (1500 dollars ) in test done. We have not had any insurance for the past few years so as you could imagine this was VERY expensive. After 3 and a half years at my current job. My employer finally decided he would help us out and get group insurance!! it was effective march 1! Since then I have had a test done called a 21 day progesterone blood test. basically the test tells you if you ovulated or not by your hormone level. The first test I had done came back at 17 which is normal. She told me that everything was great and to call her when I started my cycle so she could count my cycle days. Of course it was a perfect 28 day cycle with ovulation. She told me we could test for three months and if I was not pregnant by then she would give me a half a pill of clomid to see if that would boost my ovulation a little. I Just had another month and yet another test done. my level came back at a 0.9. That is NO ovulation at all. She told me that I might not have a cycle this month because my hormone level was SO low. (Since I have been going through all this I have never missed a period unless I was pregnant.) They come rain or shine every 28 days. I told her that is was abnormal for me to skip a month that I have never skipped before. she said if I did not have one and I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative that she would give me a hormone pill to make me start my cycle then clomid to make me ovulate! Finally we had found the problem! I thought for sure I would have a cycle this month no worries. well day 28,29,and 30 came and gone with no cycle and a negative test . She said she wanted to wait one more week and for me to test again since I normally don't skip cycles she would rather me start on my own than with medicine. today is day 33 and still no cycle and a negative test.. I am going this week for a pregnancy blood test just to make 100% sure there is no baby before I start hormone pills. please keep us in your prayers for a baby if not this month then hopefully the clomid works and we have a baby next month! We keep telling ourselves the third time is a charm!

wow.. already a year..

Justin and I spent our one year anniversary at the Gaylord Texan. The place is amazing with all the scenery. We spent the day we got there walking around trying to figure out where everything was. We went during summerfest so there was always something going on.If you have never been there before I would suggest you visit. We had an amazing time.

Our Animal Children

Our babies have grown SO much in past few months it is crazy! They are still very hyper puppies at heart. Tank weighs 68 pounds! Miley weighs 48 pounds! They are only 8 Months old.

Unforgetable Memories

There are times when all you can do it sit back and laugh. miley is acting just like her father! Then they thought it would be fun to see if they could eat out of the dog food bag! Then they completely tore apart two magazines ( good thing they were old) and last but def not least every time Justin mows miley follows him around chasing the mower. her feet were green for at least 2 days!
